Stuart's drawing Flight Lieutenant W.L.B Walker AE is part of a new selection of works set to go on show at Buckingham Palace this summer in celebration of Prince Charles' 70th birthday.

As the royal court relocates to Balmoral for the summer The State Rooms will open to the public this weekend.

To accompany the summer opening, the Prince of Wales has chosen 100 paintings, decorative arts and furniture from the Royal Collection to form the special display, Prince and Patron.

The selection includes works added to the Royal Collection by the Prince of Wales' ancestors, items from his personal collection and drawings - incluing Stuart's - from The Last of the Few (veterans of the Battle of Britain) which were commissioned in 2010 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

A cedar wood pavilion sits in the centre of the exhibition with an Afghan design.

Buckingham Palace opens its doors to visitors on Saturday, July 21 2018.
