Earlier this month Stuart joined the Heong Gallery for an online talk about his practice - two years after his exhibition HALFBOY opened at the venue.
Stuart chats to curator Dr Prerona Prasad about the aftermath of HALFBOY, his current projects and reflections on life as an artist in pandemic times.
Following Stuart's show at the Heong Gallery, HALFBOY travelled to Snape Maltings in Aldeburgh and the School of Art Gallery in Aberystwyth. Two paintings from the exhibition were shown in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in 2019 and the National Gallery now sells prints of three of his paintings as part of their celebration of the BP Portrait Award.
The talk was part of a programme of events to celebrate the Heong Gallery's fifth anniversary.
