Salute to the heroes of D-Day

Stuart was one of twelve artists commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales to paint portraits of D-Day veterans - paying tribute to some of the remarkable men who played a role in the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944.
Stuart painted veteran Jack Griffiths.
Artists featured in the project included: Paul Benney, Clara Drummond, Catherine Goodman, Eileen Hogan, Peter Kuhfeld, James Lloyd, Ishbel Myerscough, Carl Randall, Antony Williams, Stuart Pearson Wright, Jonathan Yeo and, Martin Yeoman. All are previous students from the Royal Drawing School, one of the Prince's charities.
